Peptide technology represents the cutting edge in skin care. Simply put, peptides are fractions of protein molecules that have been created in a laboratory, so although they are naturally derived, they have to be considered synthetics. Nevertheless, they represent the most exciting area in skin care today!
The same company that makes the Urban Botanics elements line of ultra-clean, pure skincare wanted to see if they could come up with a product (or products) that utilize this technology and minimized the necessary compromises to cleanliness. They called this new line Emerald Aesthetics, and intended it solely for the professional marketplace.
What they found was that they could better the products currently dominating the field and afford to sell them for considerably less. Unfortunately, they also found that they had not yet found a way to avoid the commonly used stabilizers necessary preserve the integrity of these somewhat fragile compounds. They were prepared to set the project aside while they worked to find answers to the problems, when their consultants started clamoring to be able to use the product themselves. It turns out the professional marketplace doesn’t have the same considerations regarding cleanliness that Emerald Aesthetics does – the only real concern the professionals had was results, and these products worked! So, the company released Denoveaux, but just to the professional marketplace (spas, salons, aestheticians).
To Emerald Aesthetics even greater surprise, many health food stores asked if they could buy it, too. Many were already selling Strivectin-SD1 (which was reporting national sales of $10 million a month!), and if the stores could offer a similar product to their customers at half the cost, they wanted it!
So, we find ourselves in the somewhat curious position of offering a product that in many regards does not satisfy our purity requirements found everywhere else in our catalog. Emerald Aesthetics is sort of in the same position, too; they were backed into offering Denoveaux into the home market.
We feel that of this type of product, they have created the best. Be clear – it is not completely clean. It contains parabens, propylene glycol, and alcohols (although the alcohols they use are "good" in that they don't share the problems commonly associated with alcohol in skin care). It is possible that these cutting edge ingredients may never be able to be offered in a product that is truly clean, or that if it is so offered, it may not retain its potency long enough to still be working by the time you buy it. At this point, no one knows for sure. We feel this is too important an area in skin care to ignore, however, so if you are interested in obtaining the benefits these key ingredients offer, we feel this is by far the best product you can invest in.
Because we are a commercial site, there is a limit as to what we can say about how well the product works before the FDA would object, but there is nothing to stop you from researching the ingredients and making up your own mind. Emerald Aesthetics uses the ingredients specified in the research, bought the trademarked versions of them to make sure they were getting the optimal performance out the products, and uses these ingredients at the levels specified in the research – in contrast to many companies who put in only a trace of the ingredients (enough to make a claim for them on the labels but not enough to really "do" anything). For your research, look up the trademarked names of Matrixyl, Darutoside, Biopeptide-CL, and Rigin. Also look up Emblica (Phyllantus emblica) for its ability to even skin tones. We have no doubt you will be as impressed with the research as we are.
While nothing gets rid of stretch marks entirely, not even expensive laser surgery, nevertheless, with the way you commonly use language, many people report that Denoveaux has made their stretch marks “disappear”. Think of wrinkles as being smaller stretch marks. Both are the result of the collagen matrix in the skin being disrupted. What if it could be repaired?
